This is a problem for the average user to find the do-follow or no-follow blogs or links in the web. Most of them looks for a list or try to find it from the HTML preview. All these are time consuming and have negative effects on your ongoing SEO work. If you are trying to find a quick solution to find the do-follow or no-follow links in a blog then the following addons from Mozilla might help you.

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/nodofollow/

Install the addon and restart your mozilla firefox browser. Now whenever you are on a page to make comments or post article you can check if that is giving you a do-follow link or all the links are no-follow. Steps are as follows.

This is a quick tips for the WordPress users. I have faced this problem several times while I was using my previous host. Whenever you are trying to install/delete/upgrade a plugin or a theme from inside the WordPress admin panel it asks for FTP username and password. This doesn’t occur in all hosting environment but if you are using any free host or your server configuration is not well configured then this  might happen.

This is how you can overcome the problem. Download your wp-config.php and add the following codes before the MySQL settings. And then upload it again into the same directory to re-write the old wp-config.php. Don’t forget to change the details with your FTP host, username and password.

/*Adding FTP login credentials to avoid WordPress asking for FTP details every time when upgrading a plugin*/
define(‘FTP_HOST’, ‘ftp.yoursite.com’);
define(‘FTP_USER’, ‘Your_FTP_Username’);
define(‘FTP_PASS’, ‘Your_FTP_password’);
//*If you can use a SSL connection set this to true*
define(‘FTP_SSL’, false);

….You have something important to say. This is better for you and for the readers of your blog too. Let’s elaborate my statement.

The giant search engine Google has changed their way of indexing and ranking websites. Now it doesn’t count how many back-links you have or nice keyword you are using. All that matters now is how much good your content is and how the users are acting upon it on the social media.

So this will be a favor for you and to your readers if you do not write or publish unnecessary things in your blog. If you are thinking that where to find the post ideas that people will love? Then you are on the right track now.

I have been asked several times about why one blog fails while another rises and earns a lot. This is very frustrating for a first time blogger. This problem occurs when you can’t/haven’t choose a profitable niche.

What is a profitable niche and how to find it?

I suggested people several times to start a blog for a hobby or profession. But things won’t work the same way for a professional blogger like it works for a hobby blogger. A hobby blogger can blog on any topics and write whatever he wants. But for a blogger who wants to earn from it and want to take blogging as profession then at the very beginning of their journey even before registering a domain they need to choose the perfect niche to profit in the long run.

So the most important part of blogging should be choosing your topic. This topic can be of your interest or anything that you are a master of.  If you do not find find any topic that is profitable and you have interest in it then you can’t succeed. I can say it more easily by the following Equations:-

  • You have interest in a thing to describe= You can blog on that.
  • You have interest+ knowledgeable about the topic (niche)=You can be a popular person on that particular subject.
  • The topic is profitable + You have interest + You Have Knowledge= A popular and profitable blog

01. Choosing your niche:

This is not a normal issue you face regularly. When someone send you a file you can see the extensions in the attachment as .jpg, .png. mkv. pdf etc. But when you see that you have an e-mail attachment from a client or friend that is showing the extension as .DAT then you might be thinking – How on earth I am going to open this!

What is a DAT file?

A Dat file is something that is not under any common program you are using. It’s a data file that may contain music file, image or text documents. It’s kind of archive of data but the extension is not clearly announced in the code. Some e-mail programs converts the attachments to DAT file and some games also uses DAT file to archive game data.

When people are deciding between affiliate marketing or adsense program- they are actually thinking of earning in two diverse path. Affiliate marketing needs more connection with the users and followers, while earning from adsense will need more optimization for the search engines. Yet it is possible to earn with both of them from the same blog, but as of my observation one should separate this two earning method distinctively in different blogs.

Adsense+Amazon Experiment

Now, why I am saying that? I have two experiment in my hands of my own blogs. On one that is optimized for search engines mainly where I inserted Google adsense for testing and on second one I did optimization for search engines but in a very basic level- that blog is running on social media marketing (paid).
