Printed materials show potential customers that you’re a professional, serious business because you make an effort (and can afford) to reach them in various ways, and they’ll trust you more because of it.

How many different ways can you reach people online? You can have a Facebook profile, a Twitter profile, a Foursquare profile, and more, but they’re still all just marketing through social networks. You don’t have to continually maintain them.

The most important part about printed marketing materials is that they work. I wouldn’t suggest them if they didn’t, and no one would even consider them. The work even more now than ever before because they stand out. With most business focusing on social media and reducing their print marketing, your print materials won’t have nearly as much competition.
